Beautiful Girl On A Train

Posted on

Today i am travelling on a train,

Sometimes it goes over a river,

Sometimes it passes through rough terrains;

*

Sitting next to me is a girl dressed in green,

Truth being, she is the most beautiful i’ve ever seen;

Every sight of her stops my heart for once,

Afraid to convey its joy and hence it burns;

*

Her voice is very smooth,

Every spoken word is so gentle,

I feel as if i’m on 9th cloud,

Because the chance to see her is so accidental;

*

Now i know she will deboard at next station,

Making my brain go nuts with agitation;

Behold the event, she is moving away from me,

She is happy to meet her parents and i’m feeling bliss within;

*

Train starts to move again, She disappears from my view,

Forcing my emotions to chart a course anew;

I don’t think i will see her ever again,

But she will reside in my heart as the beautiful girl i saw on a train.

  2. Nice poem well written, this poem reminds me of a time when I was on the train and noticed this guy who was looking my way, it was kind of awkward because my mother also noticed his staring. If this poem is based on a true story, did you bump into the beautiful girl on the train again?

    • Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog and liking my work. I appreciate it. As far as your question is concerned, yes, I did bump into the beautiful girl I’ve written this poem about. And every detail mentioned is true well.

      Also, you said that it felt awkward when this happened to you because your mother was there, but did you like the attention?

      Hope to hear from you soon.

      • Honestly I did like the attention but the guy seemed too shy to approach me. Once he got off the train he had an expression of disappointment. But that’s cool how you wrote this poem about the beautiful girl.Did you approach the girl once you seen her again?

      • Sorry for replying so late. Well, i never saw her ever again. But i’m not disappointed because i thought its better to be happy, cherishing that moment, rather than feeling sad about it. I believe everyone faces a situation more or less like this, but the beauty of it is if you can carry that moment in your heart for a lifetime. Happy Blogging!
